Perkins Coie Advises Real Asset Acquisition Corp. on a $1.7 Billion Business Combination Agreement With IQM
NEW YORK (February 26, 2026)—Perkins Coie announced on Thursday that it advised Real Asset Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: RAAQ), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, on its entry into a definitive business combination agreement with IQM Finland Oy (IQM), a global leader in full-stack superconducting quantum computers.
The transaction values IQM at a pre-money equity value of U.S. $1.8 billion, includes $134 million in private investment in public equity (PIPE) commitments from leading new and existing investors, and is expected to result in approximately $450 million of net cash on IQM’s balance sheet at closing. The transaction will result in IQM becoming the first European quantum computing company to go public in the United States and provides funding to accelerate IQM’s technology and commercial development toward fault-tolerance quantum computing, further advancing its position as a leading provider of quantum computers.
